Privacy Policy
This policy explains what Sitegride collects, why, who can see it and what you can ask us to do with it. It covers this website and the Sitegride application.

Who we are
Sitegride makes site and finance management software for builders and developers, in English and Gujarati. We are based in Gujarat, India. In this policy, "we" and "us" mean Sitegride; "you" means anyone using this website or the application.
For anything about your data, write to support@sitegride.com. For anything else, contact@sitegride.com reaches us.
What we collect
Three different things, and they are worth keeping apart.
What you give us. When you book a demo, send feedback or ask for support, we receive your name, your phone number, your email address if you give one, your business name, and whatever you write in the message. The demo form also asks your role, roughly how many people work in your business, what you build and which slot suits you.
What we record automatically on this website. Which steps of a form you reached, the page you were on, an anonymous identifier kept in your own browser, the address of the page that sent you to us, any campaign tags in the link you followed, and your browser and device string. We also derive a one-way hash of your IP address. We do not store the address itself, and the hash cannot be turned back into it.
What your team puts into the application. Sites, purchases, attendance, payments, unit sales and the rest. That is your business record. We hold it so the application can work and we do not use it for anything else.
Why we use it
- To reply to you, arrange a demo at a time that suits, and answer support questions.
- To run the application and keep your records available to the people you have given access to.
- To understand which parts of this website help people and which do not, so we can fix the ones that do not.
- To keep the service secure, to prevent abuse of the forms, and to meet obligations the law places on us.
We do not sell your information, we do not rent it, and we do not use it to serve advertising anywhere.
Cookies and browser storage
- A cookie that remembers whether you are reading in English or Gujarati, so you are not asked again on the next page. It lasts a year.
- An anonymous identifier in your browser storage, so that if you read the walkthrough today and book a demo next week, we can see that as one visit rather than two strangers. It carries no name, number or address.
- Whatever your host needs to serve the page and keep it secure.
There are no advertising cookies on this site and no third-party trackers. Clearing your browser storage removes the identifier and the language choice, and nothing breaks.
Who else sees it
Only the suppliers we need to run the service, and only for that purpose. They are bound to handle it on our instructions.
- Our hosting provider, which serves this website and the application.
- Our database provider, which stores the records.
- Anyone we are legally required to disclose to, such as a court or a regulator acting within its powers.
Inside your own company, who can see what is set by the roles you assign. That is your decision, not ours.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries and demo requests: for as long as we are in conversation, and up to two years after, so that we recognise you if you come back.
- Website analytics: up to two years, after which it is aggregated or deleted.
- Business records inside the application: for as long as your account is open. After it closes we keep them for a short period so the account can be restored, then delete them.
- Anything we must keep longer to satisfy a legal or tax obligation, for the period that obligation runs.
How we protect it
- Everything travels over an encrypted connection.
- IP addresses are hashed with a secret salt before they are stored, so what we hold cannot be read back as an address.
- The database enforces row-level security: an account can only reach its own rows, and the key this website uses can write an enquiry and read nothing back.
- Every create, edit and delete inside the application is kept with the name of the person who made it and the time they made it.
No system is beyond reach. If a breach affects your information we will tell you and the relevant authority, promptly and in plain language.
Your rights
- Ask what we hold about you, and get a copy.
- Have anything wrong corrected.
- Have your information deleted, where we are not required to keep it.
- Withdraw consent you have given, at any time. That does not undo what was lawful before you withdrew it.
- Nominate someone to exercise these rights on your behalf if you are unable to.
- Complain to us, and if we do not resolve it, to the data protection authority.
Write to support@sitegride.com and we will answer within thirty days. We may need to check who you are before we act, which is a protection for you rather than an obstacle.
Children
Sitegride is a tool for businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under eighteen. If you believe a child has given us information, write to us and we will delete it.
Where your information is stored
Our providers may store or process information outside India. Where that happens we rely on contractual protections with the provider, and the standard of care described in this policy applies wherever the information sits.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page when our practices change, and the date at the top will change with it. If a change matters to you, we will say so directly rather than leave you to notice. The current version always lives at https://sitegride.com/en/privacy.
Contact
Questions, requests and complaints about your information: support@sitegride.com. Everything else: contact@sitegride.com. We answer in English or Gujarati, whichever you write in.
